What
is coaching and how does it work? Coaching is
a form of individual consulting in which coach and client
work together as a team to set goals, develop an action
plan, and see it through to successful completion. The coach
challenges the client to venture into new territory, to
try new things, to operate in new ways while providing support
and encouragement throughout.
Why should I hire a coach?
Most people who choose to work with a coach are going through
(or anticipating) a major life transition such as a career
change, starting a new business, financial crisis, re-entry
into the workforce, retirement, divorce, or facing a serious
medical situation.
A coach will help you to clarify your goals, challenge you
to make your goals happen, and support you so you can stay
the course to success. People hire a coach to help them
to attain what they haven't been able to attain on their
own.
What will I get from Henrietta
Harrison that I can't get from other coaches? Henrietta
doesn't claim to be the right coach for everyone; but, the
people who work with her say they wouldn't work with anyone
else. She has a proven track record of success, guiding
clients to attain the possible. Her training and experience
as a psychotherapist coupled with her background in business
uniquely equips her to effectively motivate and guide her
clients through the process of change, from visualizing
a life dream to living it as a new reality.
I'm interested in working
with a coach but my work and travel schedules are so demanding
it would be hard to get to appointments. What can I do?
Henrietta coaches most of her clients face-to-face in her
office; but, also does on-site coaching in your office,
teleconferencing, and on-line coaching. Many of her clients
are top-level executives, business owners, and high-profile
individuals so she is accustomed to working with demanding
schedules and travel commitments.
Are coaching fees tax
deductible? Yes, coaching fees are generally considered
to be a business expense much in the same way that career
counseling and resume costs are.
